Observability, implemented.Done right from day one.

We roll out Datadog product by product, with standards agreed before data flows, so your teams trust what they see from day one.

Why it matters

The first months decide how a platform is used for years.

Agents installed without a plan create noisy data, unclear ownership and a bill that is hard to explain. Getting it right at the start costs far less than fixing it later.

Suitable for

  1. 01Organizations that have just bought Datadog
  2. 02Teams extending coverage to new products or business units
  3. 03Companies moving off Splunk, New Relic, Dynatrace or Grafana

What we implement

Every layer you run, on one platform.

Pick the modules you need now and add the rest later. Each one stands on its own.

Migration

Move to Datadog without losing sight.

From Splunk, New Relic, Dynatrace, Elastic, Prometheus and Grafana or Sumo Logic. We redesign as we move, run both tools side by side, and switch over only when coverage is proven.

  1. 01Inventory

Every dashboard, alert and pipeline in the current tool.

  2. 02Redesign

Rebuilt the Datadog way, not lifted and shifted.

  3. 03Run in parallel

Both tools side by side until coverage checks pass.

  4. 04Switch over

Cut-over, then the old tool is retired.

How we work

Standards first. Validated. Handed over.

  1. 01

    Standards first

Tagging and naming agreed before any data flows.

  2. 02

    Validated

An ingestion dashboard shows every source arriving correctly.

  3. 03

    Handed over

Documentation and a knowledge transfer session for your team.

What you walk away with

Data you can trust, from day one.

  • Datadog live

    Across the modules you chose.

  • One tagging standard

    Followed by every team.

  • Every source validated

Documented, so your team can maintain it.

FAQ

Implementation questions.

Do you also build the alerts and dashboards?

Implementation gets the right data into Datadog. Alerts, dashboards and SLOs belong to Configuration & Governance, and the two often run in the same engagement.

Can we start with one module?

Yes. Each module stands on its own. Many clients start with infrastructure or APM and add the rest later.

How long does a migration take?

It depends on the size of your current estate. We scope it after the inventory, and the parallel run keeps the risk low throughout.

Do we have to replace all our current tools?

No. If some tools still earn their place, we keep them, connect them to Datadog so everything is seen in one place, and retire only the rest.

Do you work with OpenTelemetry?

Yes. We design vendor-neutral telemetry with Datadog as the backend, and move existing OpenTelemetry setups onto Datadog's collector.
